Introduction
to the
Trades

Our NEWEST offering at Freedom Christian is our Introduction to the Trades classes taught by an electrical engineer with over 20 years in the field!
Mr. Coleman has a teacher’s heart for young men having four sons of his own with the desire to serve in some type of Christian ministry.
Some of the skills taught to the 5th-12th grade students this past year were woodworking, basic construction, welding, electrical, plumbing, and home repair.  The feedback received from both parents and students prove this to be one of Freedom Christian’s more valued and enjoyable offerings.
Learning these practical skills develops stewardship of creation, responsibility, and the dignity of all labor–not just “white-collar” paths. It also equips students with real-world confidence and self-sufficiency, helping them become productive contributors to their families, churches, and communities while modeling Christ-like humility and excellence in everyday service.

Are you interested in investing in these young men’s trades education?

Scripture honors honest work as a way to glorify God and serve others (e.g., Proverbs 22:29, Colossians 3:23).
