Teaching music at a Christian school is valuable because music is a God-given gift for worship and praise. Scripture is filled with songs and calls to “make a joyful noise to the Lord” (Psalm 100), showing that music helps students express adoration, process emotions, and connect with God in ways words alone cannot. It also stewards the creative talents God has entrusted to each student, cultivates discipline, teamwork, and beauty, and integrates faith with learning by showing how all of life—including the arts—can glorify Him. In a Christian environment, music education shapes hearts, builds community, and equips students to use their voices and instruments for Kingdom purposes.
