Why a Drama Program?

Scripture is full of dramatic expression from the prophets acting out parables, the poetic drama of Job, to Jesus' teaching through powerful stories and parables.  Drama allows students to explore Biblical truths, human experiences, and moral dilemmas in a vivid, memorable way that engages both heart and mind.
It builds confidence, empathy, teamwork, self-discipline, and the ability to speak clearly and persuasively.

In a Christian context, drama glorifies God by telling redemptive stories, encouraging morality, fostering compassion, and equipping students to shine light into culture through excellence and integrity on stage.

Miss Krage oversees all the drama events and is a gifted director finding the perfect play parts for the first-year novice and the experienced senior.  She sews many of the costumes herself.

Spring Play

A full dramatic production is one of the highlights of the school year. Families as well as members of the community enjoy this production.

ACE Regional Student Convention

Competition with other Christian schools in platform events.

ACE International Student Convention

Those that place in the top 6 for their region have the option to go to an international competition with ACE schools from around the world. Freedom Christian attends this every other year. (Fundraisers such as making and selling pies or yard work to help defray the cost).

Junior Convention

4th-7th grade competition with other Christian schools that also include the same drama events as the older student convention.

Living Wax Museum 4th-5th grade

Students choose a historical figure and dress and perform as that character for their parents and fellow students.

Christmas Program Musical

Younger grades perform a Christmas musical with a Christian story.

God is the Master Storyteller and has created us in His image as creative communicators.
